Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use the Cardelier app and its online services. By using the app you agree to them.
What Cardelier does
Cardelier suggests which of your Singapore credit cards to use for a purchase, based on card rules we compile from issuers' published terms and on the spending you log. It does not make payments, apply for cards or connect to your bank.
Estimates, not financial advice
Rewards, cashback, miles and bonus caps shown in the app are estimates. Card issuers can change their terms at any time and our rules may be incomplete or out of date. Always check the issuer's current terms before relying on a recommendation. Nothing in the app is financial advice, and we are not responsible for rewards you did or did not earn.
Your account
You can use most features without an account. If you create one, keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account in the app at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Membership
Some features need a paid membership, sold as a monthly, quarterly or yearly auto-renewing subscription through the App Store. Apple handles payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds under its own terms. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it in your Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Deleting your Cardelier account does not cancel the subscription.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service. In particular, don't:
- copy, scrape or extract the card rules or recommendation logic, or try to reverse engineer the app;
- interfere with our servers, get around rate limits or security measures, or access other people's accounts;
- use the service for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Our content
The app, the card rules we compile and the recommendation logic belong to us. Card names and card images belong to their issuers and are shown only to help you identify your cards.
Availability and liability
We provide the service as is and may change or stop parts of it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by relying on estimates in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Singapore law that cannot be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
